Sukhi Hotu Dharma Friends,
Wesak is an important time for us to remember the struggles and determination of Siddhartha Gautama in His quest for the truth and the meaning to life. Wesak Day is a milestone check-point, as it were, of our lives and how we are engaging the Dharma in our lives.

More importantly, it is a time to reflect upon and draw inspiration from the life of our Teacher to make our lives another step closer to the Dharma.
With this reflection, we wish you health, happiness, peace and above all the Buddha-like determination to strive in our spiritual practice for the good many, for the happiness of many.
May the Bodhi-citta continue to arise and be strong!
We would also like to invite you to our simple Wesak event on Tuesday (May 17, 2011). Our program will be as follows:
7.30 am - 9.30 am :
WESAK REFLECTION MORNING
The Center will be opened for quiet personal Puja and Meditation. You are welcome to come start the day on the peaceful reflective note.
10.00 am - 11.00 am:
Special Wesak Puja: THE 7-FOLD PUJA and offerings to the Buddha.
*This is a special Puja (mainly in English) that reflects verses and spirit from the Bodhicaryavatara (Entering the Path to Enlightenment) with special offerings.
11.30am (onwards) :
Special Blessings and LUNCH DANA**. We have invited Bhanta Piyavanno to grace and Bless this special occassion.
** You are also invited to join us for lunch together after the dana. Lunch is POTLUCK, please bring only meatless diet and we would appreciate if you would refrain from bringing any polystyrene packaging.
Thank you once, again.
We wish you a Blessed Wesak and may you and your family continue to seek and experience the peace and beauty of the Dharma.
See you all on Tuesday.
